you can get something similar at auto parts stores

I got one that a hose with fitting screws on, and activates the valve...only bad part was that I overtightened the plug portion and stripped it, causing it to leak https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub..._DIR#>/sad.png

Do those things acctually work? I've been thinking about buying one. but wanted a second opinon on quaility.. Can't they come open? Like if a rock hits it or something?

the one that I had didn't have a lever, and it had a screw-on cap to cover the valve

Isnt having a screw on cap just like having a drain plug? Besides a drain plug is easy to take out plus it is magnetic and it will catch some of the meal crap possibly floating around in your pan.

there is a valve, with a protective screw on cap. you take the cap off, just to uncover it. then you screw on the valve release thing, that has a hose attached to it. it lets you direct the flow where you want it to land.

Alright that sounds a little better. I guess if you needed a new plug then it would be worth it.
