ok i was wondering what i can do to fix this. on my driver side my door doesn't lock or unlock with the key. so i have to go into my pass. side open the door then unlock my side. i was wondering what do you think i should do to fix this problem. should i replace it? but then i would have to get new keys right? give me your opinion. also my windows! roar they are a pain in the @$$! ok my side rolls down about half way. then when i go to roll it up all i hear is a "click click" sound. what the hell can that be? and then on my pass. side it rolls all the way down but then when i go to roll it up it but the front part of the window doesn't i have to pull it up! what do you think that is? and then my sunroof! it opens with no problem but then it doesn't close. i have to pull it with my hand and i press the button! what is that?

as for the windows and the sunroof, that sounds like mechanical problems.

My best advise would be to take the things apart and when putting them back together again look for parts that need to be exchange.

The sunroof I think is just a case of misalignment of either locking mechanism (had that with another car once. make sure parts fit perfectly when putting back together because otherwise you'll have water running in along the sides of the thing)

The windows issue might be caused by misalignment or some play on the mechanism. Taking them apart will give a fair idea about the situation and I think some minor parts need to be exchanged there. (never taken apart an FC's door but should look pretty similar to most of the rest of the doors and window mechanisms out there)

as for the lock, my best guess would be to replace it.

Never got the locks on my Seat Ibiza to work properly untill I replaced the lock. Replaced all other locks soon after since running around with 3 different keys to get your car running isn't really the most pleasant option.

You could look for a trashed FC on a local junkyard (have to be lucky to find one I guess, but certainly it's worth a try) and strip all locks from there. Probably buyng teh complete thing is cheaper then buying locks from your mazda dealer https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...R#>/unsure.png

Maybe though someone on this forum knows some easier solutions, but as far as I'm concerned this is what I'd do to fix the problems https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/happy.png
