Don't let your car sit too long

So its been rip roaring hot for awhile down here, so I havent driven the yellow car in a few months. So I fire it up so I can wash it. It starts, but i can tell its running waaay rich. I pop the hood as its running to check things out. After a few moments I close the hood and the motor shuts off! I restart it, pop the hood and close it again. Sure enough, she dies. I fire it back up and wiggle the wires to the MAP sensor and it dies again.
I think some rodent has been nibbling on my wiring! If the weather is below a hundred this weekend Ill figure out whats going on and let you guys know.

Good point. My brother recently had nearly $800 of damage repaired on his '04 Chevrolet Malibu. It seems that chipmunks made a nest on top of the fuel tank, and chewed through the discharge fitting on the in-tank fuel pump. The dealer that repaired the damage actually took pictures of the nest to back up their denial of warranty coverage.
