ive posted a thread before about a chirping sound when my clutch pedal isnt pressed and my car isnt in gear..some said the pilot bearing.. i said the throwout bearing..so i was just lookin online for the exact problem cause i dont kno what it is.. and im tryin to very specific with this so i dont replace something that doesnt need replacing and the problem still occur..so im askin for all the kowledge you guys have to help me out on this one... this is what i found online

this sounds like my exact problem:

If you hear chirping while idling in neutral and the noise goes away when the pedal is slowly depressed, the fork/pivot ball contact point is making the noise.

this problem happened in maybe early october..comin out of a stop sign slowly..i shifted into 2nd then bam..this happened...if this happen to anyone.. help me out ..lol. please. thanx guys

If you are experiencing noise with the clutch pedal OUT then it cannot be the throwout bearing.... the throw out bearing is only in play when the clutch pedal is depressed. When it isn't depressed you have the tranny output shaft, pilot bearing and various tranny parts in play. No matter what you do you are going to need to pull the tranny, clutch, etc... at that point you can inspect for wear and decide what you feel comfortable not replacing.

everything is dropped....i have very little if no play on my inputshaft. turns easily by hand smooth no noise.no scaring or markin on the splines either..release bearing appears to be ok.. pressure plate decent no broken fingers..wut i found online it said it could fork/pivot ball contact point...

Maybe the pedal pivot & spring inside the firewall?
