ok so found extra time and extra friends to help me drop my trans so i dropped it tonight, and guess what we discovered....

it was the clutch that was bad, nothing dealing with reslease or anything. and how did it go bad.

one of the bolts holding the clutch in was missing, IIRC we had 5 out of 6 bolts. this somehow caused the clutch to split and forced it to stay engaged no matter how many times we pressed the clutch in.

On monday going to order a new clutch disk overnight and install it tuesday and we should be back up and running.

My level of being pissed is pretty high now, at first i was a little pissed cuz i figured MAYBE something i did caused it but now that i know for sure it wasnt something i did im like really pissed.

but at least its goin back together quick.

TURB0II if you read this nevermind that clutch order im just gonna get a new disk and save up for an ACT setup, flywheel etc whole 9 yards, hopefully thisll keep intact till i save enough.

Have you tried just putting a bolt back in it? I doubt if there is much damage if any to the disc in it now.

Did you use a torque wrench the first time? If not make sure you do it this time!
