hey i have another newbe question, the stock turbo needs rebuilt on my 88 turbo 2 but i want to go ahead and put a new turbo on it, what would be a good choice right now im looking at a garrett t3/t4 60 trim, just let me know what is a good choice for this application and keeping in mind that i am all stock right now. also i was woundering what trim is the stock turbo?

You can't just bolt another turbo on. Nothing but the stock one, bolts to the stock exhaust manifold. You can do a hybrid upgrade from BNR, but I believe those start @ $500.

yah it depends on what you want out of the car.

if you're happy with the power now, just get it rebuilt. if you want a little more, get it rebuilt with a bigger compressor, say a V trim.

if you want lots a lots more power, some would even say heaps more power, get a 60-1 t04 with a p trim wheel in a divided 1.0 housing and one of revvins turbo manifolds
