well, when i was finished...i let the car idle for about 10 minutes with no problems. moved it, let it idle again for about 15-20 minutes. no problems. then one last look over for about ten minutes of idle. everything was good and idle was steady at 900.

then when i drove off, i pushed it very little to about 6psi and the rpms shot up to 3500 when i let off and was boucing back and forth from 3500 to 4000. i pulled over opened the hood and the rear rotor must of been EXTREMELY lean cause that part of the manifold was glowing red.

the only thing i have different is the vacuum on the BAC (the large opening one) is just open. before that it ran to the top mount intercooler piping. can i cap it, or i have to run it back to my intercool piping. or can i just block that bitch off. or maybe this isnt even my problem........?????

damnit...i'll post some pics up when i find my camera.

oh...and i have the older greddy type-s blow off valve. theres 2 vacuum ports on it. im only using one. could be another problem???

djmtsu 05-23-2007 08:36 AM

Plug that ****!!!!!!!

(or go boom)

sen2two 05-23-2007 10:31 AM

so all i have to do is plug it?????

when i blocked it with my finger (plugged it) it didnt fix the idle...

maybe i have to plug it and let it run for a minute, let it calibrate itself again??? just dont want that rotor to go so lean it breaks...

any ideas as what the problem can be. i cant find no vacuum hoses popped off...

oh...if i put it in gear, the idle drops back down. and a soon as i take it out of gear, it shoots back up again.

Stuck TPS? Bad O2 sensor? Stuck throttle plates? have you checked the vacuum hose going to the FPR? Are the rear injectors bad? you getting ample spark to rears? keep it simple stupid man, it will likely turn out to be really easy to fix. May even be the vacuum nipple caps, dirty *****s. Good luck

cant be tps, cause when i put it in gear the idle drops, take it out of gear. idle goes nuts again.

thorttle plates arnt stuck.

vacuum is good on the fpr.

maybe the injectors could e bad. but why would putting it in gear change that...??? same goes for spark.

im hoping its an easy fix. i just cant think of nothing right now.

sen2two 05-23-2007 01:12 PM

took the manifold off...gaskets were fine. there was some fuel residue in the outer ports. is that ok???

how can i check if my injectors are leaking or not??? theres a little residue around the secondary injector for the rear rotor. dont know if thats th leaking one though.could have jutspilled something there...

and maybe it just might be the TPS. the load can change it, that might be why its ok when i put it in gear. how do i check it?

sen2two 05-23-2007 02:31 PM

stock computer with HKS F-Con. been in there for a while already. no problems coming from that...

im gonna replace the UIM gasket and all 4 injectors and injector seals...damnit. that better work!
