For a daily driver/street machine in a 89-91 GXL/GTU?
89-91 S5 TII motor . Full rebuild. Slight port. Aviation seals. 89-91 N/A S5 Rotors. 89-91 N/A S5 ECU. Should I use the TII harness or the N/A harness? Or would it be better to use the TII ECU? |
use the t2 ecu, and you're prolly better off with the turbo engine rotors too
|
why use thr turbo rotors? there only 9.0 the S5 n/a ones are 9.6? 9.7?
will the turbo ECU use to much fuel? |

You could always not worry about the ECU and just megasquirt it.
If you are gonna turbo it you better at least use the TII ECU if you don't wanna try standalone, but if you are gonna use the N/A rotors you have to be well tuned and keep the boost lower. I would suggest using the S5 TII rotors if this is your first build and are not gonna go with a standalone. You have to use the TII harness and use all TII electronics. We kinda need more info... Are you gonna have the turbo? |
im going N/A. and using the TII block for the bigger ports and the fact that its a 4 port.
