Ok...With the blue circles, Im wondering if that is the way coolant flows? The first circle is where the hose going to the BAC connects to the water pump housing. The second circle is showing a nipple ( I capped to stop it from leaking coolant during all the work... ) where I *think* coolant went into. Im installing a haltech and dont feel ( read: have the tools ) like drilling/tapping a new hole for the coolant temp sensor. I was just going to run a hose between there and then put the sensor into a T in the middle of it.

The red circle is the FPR nipple. I was just curious if it mattered which side of the UIM it went to. One side has 4 nipples ( 5 if you count the brake booster ) and one side has 3. I was just going to hook it up to the side closest ( the one with 4~5 ) but Jacob Cartmill said that one side saw boost and one didnt...Is that true? Or can I hook it up to anyside I want?

BTW, its an 89T2

I believe you have the flow of coolant correct. The fpr should goto that vacuum nipple that is in the center, pointing towards the firewall at an angle( centered below the secondaries). Most of the nipples on the uim only see boost, and you need to see vacuum and boost for the fpr..

So do you think I could T in a coolant temp sensor between the two blue circles?

You could, but that would be kindof a rig job. Just take off the waterpump and goto a machine shop..

On the firewall side of the UIM the bottom nipple sees pressure. The nipple on the fpr doesn't connect to the uim at all. There should be a hose that runs from the rats nest I believe that plugs into that fpr. Oh and to figure out which way your coolant is flowing you can have someone watch your engine bay while u 'blip' the ignition a notch to check which way the coolant gushes out.

n/m...I found out you dont actually have to remove the one huge bolt to take the pulleys off https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png

Coolant Flow is from the Rear Housing to the water pump housing

http://www.fc3s.org/how_tos/manuals/88_fsm...LING_SYSTEM.pdf

Just drill and tap it and install a 5/16 fuel line barb
