ok the car will at 750 but i cant get it to stay at 750. when i let off the gas the car idles at 1200-1500 but if i slow the and hold the clutch out til about 800-900 it will idle at 800-900 depending on where i release the gas. any had this problem or know how to fix it? any thoughts on this topic would be helpful. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...1047683358.gif https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...1047683561.gif

youll want to clean the air bypass, i think 1300cc.com describes this.
check the TPS setting, check for a sticky dashpot, clean the throttle body itself. and if all else fails do what i did and adjust the throttle position set screw or whatever its called, i dont think its meant to be adjusted but my car was wildly loud idling at 1500. edit: honestly id just take the dashpot out all together to prevent misdiagnosing a broken one as working properly, i took mine out and nothing bad happened. kevin. |
