that's the basic one, adjustable 160-240 degrees, nice and simple. if you want one that turns on with A/C and **** then you need one of the actual controller units.

Wouldn't that one you linked to be good enough, even with using the a/c? I mean, if the a/c increases the heat to the radiator, then the fan would kick on anyways when the temp went up, right? What's the advantage of having an actual controller unit?

I'd assume it's to get some kind of headstart on the heat that's coming.



BTW I've never seen those thermoswitches, the only ones I've ever seen are plumbed in so you get the actual coolant temp. I can't see those being as good to be honest, you can buy retro-fit ones that are just a piece of pipe that you plumb in, they're more expensive than a scrapyard raid though.

i think the a/c thing is so you start pulling air through the condensor or whatever ( i always get the name wrong)



i dont think you really need it tho to be honest.



the one i linked to has worked for tons of people fine.
