Summer is most definitely upon us, and it's hot as balls here in tulsa. Aside from redline's water wetter (which i cannot find, any suggestions as to where are welcome) what ration of antifreeze to water yields the most cooling ability? Isnt it the more antifreeze, the higher the temp?
mazdacomp says 90%water/10% coolant, i find that to be a little thin, i like a little more coolant, say 70/30
Can't find water wetter? Tried pep boys? or NAPA?
i use approx 70/30
thanks...our napa here sucks, and at the pepboys no one knew what it was.. thanks for the advice though, and I'll keep searching for the wetter
water wetter should be back in the sections with the coolant and oil. or autozone should have it.
what does water wetter do? Do you use it instead of coolant with water?

you dont really need it imo |
i generally use a 60/40 mix. More water means cooler temps, but if your car does get hot, water has a much lower boiling point that anti-freeze does.

i have been told that is will drop temps by 10 degree F. but if you are not really running hot, it would not worth be running really. i think it is like 4 bucks a bottle.
