I noticed a drop or two of coolant in the vacuum line when I pulled my bypass valve to check its operation. The valve is fine. But what about the coolant? The vacuum line goes to the intake manifold, just below the bypass air valve. I'm really not noticing any smoke, except on redline shifts, which I believe is coming from the turbo. Any ideas as to how this coolant is getting into this line?

Well, its true I didn't analyze it. It could be the pale green blood of alien creatures that accidentally got sucked up while they were standing too close to the road.... but I was thinking it more likely to be coolant... https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png

Any chance it could be leaking from the BAC Valve? It has a coolant hose, right? What does the BAC do, and can it be shitcanned? As near as I can tell, it bumps the idle speed up when you turn the steering wheel.

unscrew the small pipe that that connects the the 2 back lines together and is connected to the BAC (2 screws) and see if the pipe has corided through. I think I have heard of it coroding through and getting coolant into the BAC. the pipe should be solid.
