I have a '83 and a '86 with coolant seal leaks (differing ammounts) and I'm just trying to keep at least 1 of them working untill afford a new motor.



Has anyone had any success with any leak treatments you pour into the radiator?



Any other ideas? fixes?

The second on looks very promising!

Juding by your sig I say try to save the FB.It's ported and could get costly to replace with another ported one.But then again it is a 12a also.They're cheap engines.

I tried the CRC Copper Block Weld yesterday today I'll give it a test.

While running the engine between/during water flushes it would tend to get hot and spit out water after 10 min. or so but during the last fil with the CRC B/W it ran 25 min. the temp never went above 1/4 and the blow from the overflow was almost gone.
