Looks like your on your way. Where did you get the JDM motor...check that thing out before going through installing it...spin it over, pull the exhaust manifold/turbo off and try the best you can to visually check the apex seals..make sure they are all there... I have just had too many blown JDM engines :(

as far as the conversion, i'd scrape up some cash and go standalone...since your going from auto to manual and na to turbo..it'll be the easiest way and even though it costs more, you'll save time and headaches.

As for the conversion from auto to manual, you'll need the pedal set, master clutch cylinder and slave clutch cylinder with the clutch line..that should be it minus misc bolts/brackets to mount,etc....

thanks, i have to do more research i never dealt with turbo at all or turbo cars. So this is all new. I will take any suggestions on setups and stuff. the motor is from osakajapan motors something like that.

i thought your car already got the manual swap over?

might as well mod that t2 motor while its out of the bay. Rats nest removal, OMP block-off, P/S & A/C Removal, dual alt. pulley belt, bla bla bla.

and why did you put those stripes on there, your car was mad clean. and your wing appears to be on backward.

Hehe no my 87 GXL is manual. Its no longer automatic. THe only problem is that i have no reverse.

The 88 SE is going to get a potential TURBO II Jspec motor put in it. Still havent decidied

My 89 GTU is being stripped and sold for parts to pay for my 87 GXL and my 88 SE project

Check out my pics on the links in my sig

EDIT: THe gold SE was bought that way dude, no offense the people that owned it before me were some white boy from Long Island who riced the **** out. All that you see there is how the car was purchased. That was my first FC i bought, my red GXL is my baby, and my 89 GTU is my parts car...
