I got a cold air intake off of ebay. They said that it didnt have instructions so how do i install that thing? Also on the air box there is i guess an o2 sensor. WHat do i do with that when i take off the air box??

There are no sensors on the airbox itself. Are you talking about the airflow meter?

man i dont know. its right before the box starts on the big intake hose.

That big thing is the air flow meter. A cold air intake will have the filter clamp right onto the air flow meter.

ok great so i just take off the box and clamp the new filter right onto the meter?? I guess this will be easier than i thought.

yeah i guess thats true. I am going to work on a cold air box, i really wanted the intake for the sound of it. It will still be getting all of the air that the original intake was getting.

I've always gotten a power boost by throwing an intake on.

Yeah, just ditching the airbox and throwing a filter onto the air flow meter. That was with turbo motors. I've never put one on an NA.
