I bought a jspec, put it in, it had a shiney new clutch/pp on it, but it won't disengage fully! I've bled the hydraulics, I don't see how they could be the problem.

on my old clutch the fingers stuck out a bit, on this one they're perfectly flat. I think that this may be causing the problem. I didn't get the TOB with that engine, just used my old TOB. It releases partly but not all the way. it doesn't "feel" like I have a whole clutch pedal.

I adjusted the pedal (both height and the rod), to no avail.

I pushed the rod into the slave cyl and put a bolt in the release fork for it to push on as a spacer, it made the clutch feel better but didn't make it work any better, it's still dragging.

what can I do here?

thanks in advance for your help
