Ok i've started to notice that when i'm backing out of or pulling into parking spots (moving at slow speeds) that the steering clicks. Well I'm assuming its the steering because it only happens when i move the wheel and the clicking comes from somewhere in the engine compartment. I checked the PS fluid and its fine - other than that I'm clueless as to where to start lookin to repair. The PS still works, and hasnt given out, but maybe the steering box is stripped? I'm not too sure where to start looking so any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks! -Scott |
Bump.
I've noticed that this only happens when its cold - maybe the PS fluid is too thick? Anyone has any suggestions, they're more than welcome. Thanks -Scott |
My vert does it as well when its below 50 out.

So i'm guessing its just something I should get used to eh?

I have no clue, I've been meaning to look for it and find the problem but i always forget since i rarely hear the sound. Never really that cold in florida and doesnt last long enough so it just slips my mind.

Im not sure what it is but its not a power steering issue. my TII has manual steering from the factory and I get the same thing. Only happens to me in reverse but happens every morning when I back out of my parking spot. Never while turning the wheel, just while in motion with the wheel cranked.
If anyone knows whats going on I would love to know also https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/happy.png |
