changed my clutch and now my gauge dosn't work

ok i had my clutch changed and now my oil pressure gauge doesn't work it goes right up to the top with out even starting the engine as soon as i turn the key it goes all the way up what should i do and how can i fix it?

my guess would be that someone pulled the connector to the oil pressure sender loose while messing with the slave cylinder. Check for a dangling\disconnected wire on the top rear of the driver's side of the engine.

Yup. Been there, done that before.



On the driver's side, rear iron, there is a cylinder sticking out the side. It has a little terminal on the top. There's a wire with a flat connector that slides on over the terminal - it's orange and yellow IIRC, or at least has one of those colors. It should be dangling freely in that area, with a white clip on the end of it.



Slide that back over the sensor, and things should work normally again.
