as you all know i am planning my full 6 port bridge experiment.

I got the idea from ArmyofOne.

the 48IDA weber is back on the market, pricey also

since my intention here is to spend least amount possible is this going to be the cheapest and best set up for this plan?

Unless you're a nostalgia buff or a carburetor guru, you're going to be better off with EFI, IMO.

Go with American 4 barrel. Parts are easy/cheap to get, easy to upgrade.

The stock manifolds suck for a big ported engine.

Dont bother with the "RB prepped" carb if you know how to tune.(spend less $$) And you should learn how with an engine like that.

EMS is great, just not REALLY needed without forced induction.

American is the brand? or you mean holley?

Know how to tune what the carb?

Thank you! i dont want to play with electronics when there is no need for it.

Again i want to spend the least amount possible on this project.

All input is greatly appreciated.

I am neither of the two, but it seems like a viable solution.

EFI requires many parts replaced, well not many, but more money.

LOL, yah I say "American" to include Edelbrock and such carbs. Some people like the "Ebrock".

Yes, I mean tune the carb.

You seem to have a good thread going with Army. Keep talking to people "like Army of One" who have success running a carb, and have cars similar to your goals. Im running a Holley, but my setup is different than the one you want to run.
