I was wondering what it would be like to run a "old school" fuel setup in my FC? I dunno what size carb, or company, just wondering how difficult it would be to run a carb on a regularly fuel injected engine.

What I want to do is run a full bridgeported motor, but the problem is I only 6 port BP'ed motors done by ITO. Is there any way to run a 4 port Bridgeported motor. Is there some crazy combination of housings, plates, and rotors I can use?? I know I will need upgraded clutch, flywheel.

Or after all that would it just be easier to get a piggyback ECU to control the fuel and air maps, and ignition?? Just curious

Thanks

J

Run turbo housings if you want a 4 port bridge. Look to RB for Holley setups for the carb.

Thanks Jim and Reaction. I PM'ed Seraph and I am checking out racing beat.

Thanks

Racing Beat has a Carburetor for a 13b Bridgeported engine, but it is under the 71-85 categories. I thought about it and all 13b's made are all the same right?? They also have an intake manifold specifically for that carburetor too. Just wondering if all 13b N/A housings are the same??

Carb'd peri port!!

lol.....

and no, not all 13b's are the same. the intake ports are different on different models, but not sure when the changes were made.

no, i thought that all the intake and exhaust ports are all the same size for all the 13b naturally aspirated rotor housings??

and no peri-port's just yet.
