i am having a hard time starting my car after its been driven and it hits operating temp. i thought it might be a leaky injector but a co-worker told me that it would be having the problem even when its cold, so he told me that its probably the temp sensor, just wondering what i should look into the temp sensor or the injectors????

Reffer back to my handy dandy manual..... just about everything says check compression... sounds toast to me?

i dont think its compression but i will look into it, but the car drives great and still boosts pretty strong, doesnt hesitate or anything when i give it gas and if it where compression i would have a hard time starting even when its cold wouldnt i??? but i will look into thanks for the response.

Ive been having the same problem, I changed the temp sensor, the coils, and just this morning all injectors. None of them fixed the problem. my compression reads about 100 psi. I cant figure it out. if you have any luck let me know please

well since it sounds like you've done alot already to try and fix the problem maybe you can help me, are you running an aftermarket radiator? and does your oil get very fluid like and smell like gas, because thats why i think my car needs the injectors serviced.

I had the same problem with it being hard to start when the car was at normal operating temp. but when it was cold it was fine. I had to pump the accelerator a few times to get it to start when it was warm. I thought it was leaking injectors too so I had them professionally cleaned and it didn't fix the problem. It ended up being low compression so I had my engine rebuilt.

So you're not having any idling issues?

well this is my second motor and i've only benn running this motor for about a year. i would hate it to be compression

take it to somewhere that has an actually mazda comp checker..... we did mine on a regular one and it looked okay, but when the mazda one spit out the numbers I was shocked.
