Ok im removing all the coolant lines from the tb, motor, and bacv. So what can i do to cap them cheaply besides putting a bolt in a line?

my cheapo job: I used rubber caps with screw-type hose clamps, just not so tight as to cut the rubber
that will eventually be replaced, considering the rubber caps are intended for vacuum use. But it's worked for several months without fail. |
I removed the nipple from the rear housing and tapped it (10MM x 1.25 ) And put a bolt in it. on the water pump housing I removed the nipple, tapped it NPT-3/8" and installed my mechancal temp gage fitting in its place. John
