It can be done with a adapter plate made to fit the engine to the transaxle, but then you still have to fab engine mounts and upgrade the fuel system and such.. it can be done but it will cost money.. AND if you get the engine in there, be prepared to replace all the stuff you are gonna break in there..

as far as the honda beating possibilities.. after tons of money spent replacing broken parts and finding what works best for that setup MAYBE you could beat built hondas.. the scale is not in your favor..

Its just not practical..

No offense man, but you really need to read up some more on the rotary engine. Doing rotary swaps into other cars is, well, just really silly. Unless it is another Mazda car.

Doing a motor swap into an FB,FC,or FD no matter which you pick, with certain engine configuration you do, is costly. Just ask a few members on here how much it cost them JUST to put a single turbo on an FD.

You really need to read some more, we are here to help, but you are not giving us anything to help you with.

well if you put one in a lightweight car, its worth it

light weight and FR

Also, FC>CRX looks-wise.

This might give you hope. There was a guy on Trademe.com who was selling an 89 civic hatch with a bridgeported 12a in it. There is no more pictures in the link I save but you can have it anyways. If you can get in touch with this seller he might be able to help you out with pricing and give you a general figure on the cost of this swap. http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Motors/C...on-24008813.htm

You're far better off spending the money on 20" wheels and big body kits to improve handling and aerodynamics. You could also save weight by not painting them.
