I WAS JUST WONDERING IF EXHAUST PIPING CAN EFFECT YOUR IDLE? CUZ MY CAR SEEMS TO WANNA IDLE TOO LOW WHEN I START IT UP... SO LOW THAT I HAVE TO HIT THE GAS SO IT DOESN'T ALMOST STALL OUT ON ME. I DON'T KNOW EXACTLY WHAT'S WRONG, BUT I'M JUST TROUBLESHOOTING RIGHT NOW. MY CAR ISN'T A PIECE OF S**T EITHER. AND I DON'T BEAT ON IT, AND IT HAS PRETTY LOW MILEAGE CUZ I DON'T TAKE IT OUT TOO OFTEN, BUT STILL MANTAIN IT. SO I DON'T KNOW WHAT ELSE WOULD MAKE IT WANNA STALL OUT? AND EVEN IF ITS NOT THE EXHAUST , WHAT WOULD MAKE IT ACT THIS WAY? SO ANY INFO WOULD BE HELPFUL, THANKS. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...R#>/unsure.png

its normal as it warms up idle speed increases. rx7`s are different from anything else. most problems are vacuum leaks from hoses on and under intake manifold. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...R#>/mellow.png

Vacuum leaks, loose air flow meter?

my old car had a bad intake manifold gasket causing a funky idle and a bad AFM..... you can also try adjusting your TPS

If you have over 70K miles, try this. Marvals Mystery Oil. I have a 1988 GXL which wouldn't idle. Part of the problem was the catalytic coverters were clogged (replaced exhaust) that causes carbon build up in the engine. To get the carbon out I used the mystery oil in the gas and oil check out its idle now.

I couldn't include the mpg file it was to big.
