these are the guy's exact words.... "this is a 1987 mazda rx7 with a non turbo rotary 13b motor. it currently does not run there is no radiator in it the old radiator would not hold fluid so i but a new one and never installed it. to put the radiator in you'll need to get a hose spliter for the lower part of the raditor the one that was on the stock radiator was trashed. it is not an expensive fix you can probably go to home depot and figure something out in the plumbing section. mechanicly the car as running till the day that i pulled the radiator out of it. it has all fairly new plugs and wires. the tires and brakes should also last you a while because ther is also no major wear to them either. the rims are aftermarket 17in there are a few spots where chrome is peeling but no real damage to them. the body needs to be finished it needs sanding and paint. the interior has no carpet or or anything really, what it does have is 2 raceing seat, the center console and shift boot which have been recovered is sued, and the door panels which have also been recovered. this car was going to be my project but i no longer have time to build another car i have some other projects i need to work on first. so if your looking at a fun car to build and drive this is one with no limits to what you can do. i planed on droping a supercharged ls1 with a 6 speed tranny in it but time is just not an option for me."

what is a hose splitter? would this problem be fixed with just new radiator hoses?? idk. the car is 600 bucks i wanna get it if its manual.

it sounds like a good project to start and i got money to do it. what do you think? (the interior is what i wanted to do first, but minus the door panels, center console.

Ok, no interior, essentially no exterior, and an engine that may or may not run. Sounds like a waste of money, unless you can sell the seats and wheels for $1,500.

These cars can be fun, but unless you have money to burn (none of which you'll get back by selling the car), it's not worth spending that kind of cash for something that's nearly a dime a dozen.

I'd find a running n/a for $1,000 to $1,500, and save yourself the trouble.

Convertibles usually cost more, but that sounds like a good price if it's in good shape (good top, interior not trashed, decent body, runs, etc.).
