getting responses!!!!!!!!! what's the secret? i was wondering if anyone knew where i could find a diagram for the fuse box by the driver's side kickpanel....could it be a fuse thats responsible for my window on pass sd not working (i put in a new switch and the drivers side gets it to work so its not the motor) also, my car is an 87 tII....my breaks SUCK...dont have $2500-$3500 for a big brake kit...thinking of kevlar pads, drilled rotors, steel lines....what is the deal with vented? and is my car single piston caliper or four? how can i tell if my master is shot? anyone try the pads or know where i should buy the stuff....has anyone shopped around? thanks for replying and not just reading and laughing https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...R#>/tongue.png

hahahahaha! try the online shop manual at www.iluvmyrx7.com its in the electrical setion. if you can find that, start looking at the fuses.

well, First off, Welcome to the forum.

Ok. It depends on the model you have. First we need more information on the car you drive. Series 4? Series 5? Turbo? GXL? Base? GTU?

THat will distingish what kinda of brake calipers you have. If it's a GXL, GTU, GTU's or a turbo than you have 4 piston calipers up front. As for the master cylinder... how long has it been since the brake system has been flushed than refilled and properly Bleed? You need to get on that if it's been more than a year.

Give us some more info, and i'm sure that some of the other GURU's on this forum would be glad to help you.

Markus.

I would double check the switch and make sure everything is hooked up right. Especially if the one you just changed is the one thats not working. If your brakes are really bad just take it to a brake shop and have them look at it. It shouldn't cost more than 200 bucks to have them changed and they can do it pretty quick if its your daily driver. Otherwise you can put on some new pads and have the rotors resurfaced for relatively cheap.

if your window is working from the drivers side switch, then you need

a passenger side switch, you could try taking it apart and cleaning it.
