a firend of mine can't get his passenger door open. he locked it and one day it just wouldn't unlock. window works and everything but can't open it from either side or unlock it with the key. does anyone have any ideas how to get the door open so i can take the door panel off to fix the lock?

did you try to slim jim the linkage and open?

i had the same problem the other day, i just stuck the key in and wiggled it untill it unlocked. What happend is a spring came loose in there and its at just a point where the inside or outside handle can make it go back to normal. After you get it, spray wb-40 in the lock and put some on your key and put the key in and unlock and lock the door a few times, that will fix it.
