Mines for sale! Maybe Ill have a timeslip this week.

Major mods are ported engine, full custom exhaust, standalone fuel(megasquirt), and a heavily ported intake manifold thats chocking the engine, 10 lb flywheel, TII driveline, etc.

You have a 10lb? Dammit.. I thought you had a 12lb like me..

I think next season I'm going to switch to a lighter one

I'd like to say I have a fast N/A but I can't say that yet..

I did everything backwards.. Which I think is better for my situation..

I want my car to run a bridgeport with 6 port end plates and I'm not snorkeling through stock equipment, not for a split second.

Right now I have a stock 6 port block, mated to an S5 TII JDM lower intake manifold, port matched for a 6 port, an S6 FD3S upper intake, FD3S throttle body (bigger throttle plates on the secondaries, should help with the bridgeported 6 port irons), and I'm not snorkeling through an AFM because I am running a megasquirt fuel controller like Adam is.

I want to drive the car in the summer so that's why I am running a stock ported block for the time being. I'm running a GSL-SE distributor and coilpacks for now, but at the same time as the bridgeport, I'm going to setup output (thanks to Roger) from the megasquirt to signal spark (advancing) and go from there with stronger coilpacks.

Anyways I have a 12lb flywheel from Australia (which ONLY works with older style pressure plates I'll have you know I found out the hard way!), and an OEM pressure plate from a 70's oldschool 4 port 13B, and an S5 disc. Stainless steel brullen exhaust 2.5", all the way from the racing beat header to the back of the car. Brullen-made mufflers and presilencer as well, all stainless, no cat.

Although it's not performance, I also have an S6 FD3S alternator..

I am suppost to be driving the car right now but I'm waiting for my body panels to arrive back from the paint booth, so I'm taking my time wiring the fuel controller.

My next major issue will be fitting an air filter. You'll see what I'm talking about when I have pictures of it all put together. The most updates are in my photo albums in my sig (or gallery link at the top). I have everything assembled and installed except for my upper intake while I am wiring the fuel injectors. My gallery so far is at me just finished cleaning the core motor. LOL. I am borrowing digital cameras from friends to make updates to my gallery.

I'm actually very curious to see what the difference in performance will be with an aftermarket fuel controller and completely different intake and exhaust on a stock ported 6 port motor. And NOT snorkeling through an AFM. I HATE those! I'm not expecting a big difference with stock ports, but it would be interesting to contrast the difference between stock manifolds and OEM fuel injection.

Stay tuned though!

I was running 9.8's in my GTU when it was nearly stock. I just had true dual exhaust. Open diff, shitty tires, and a 2.3 60 ft time. 9.8 @ 74 in the 1/8 mile.

SPD Racing FC 06-21-2004 07:13 PM
