Im having problems with it going off constantly and it's getting really annoying.I don't want to get rid of it because of its important functions so I need to fix the problem. It's the coolant buzzer. All fluids levels are fine so there must be air in the coolant line. How do I get air out of the system?

Take out the low coolant sensor(one wire, bolts on top of radiator) clean the aluminum oxidation off the sensor.

If that doesnt work, you can ground the wire to stop the buzzing until you get the sensor. BUT MAKE SURE YOU HAVE COOLANT!

Oil Leak,eh? I just love those.

Could it be your coolant system does not have enough pressure? Also, on the low oil buzzer, check the oil cooler lines. I ran into that over the weekend. I spent roughly 30 extra dollars in new oil. And the oil that was in there was fresh.

And then you may have CPU electrical problems.

will it go off if the car is really low on gas? i ask because my car is full of oil and coolant but the **** comes on about 30 seconds after the car has been runnin and stays on until the switch is turned off then it does the same again when started. the only thing the car is low on is fuel. i've yet to put over like 2 gallons it it since i've had it... lol, never been on the road with it.

Hey I had the same problem with my car. it was a very simple fix for me

on mine a wire had come out it just needed to be pluged-in it was under the steering the column, I was actually searching for the speaker to shut it up.

coolant buzzer?

so thats what that is! (or is it?)

My coolant was only half empty, but when I would run hard (i.e. high rpm shifts),

it would be all like: vvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvVVVVVVVVVRRRRROOOOOOOOMMMMM WONNNKK!!*shift*

the 'wonk' buzzer was coming from inside the car, so i knew it was a warning of sorts....i always thought it was a shift indicator?

There's 3 important functions of the buzzer.

-low oil

-over rev

-low coolant

hhmmm, good idea. I have a high pitched buzzer constantly, not like the over rev or low coolant "wonk" buzzer, heh i love that sound description https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/smile.png

Do you remember what the wire color was that was loose under the dash and its approximate location? I had my dash board out for some wiring/plastic repairs and could have possibly left this loose??

Ahhhhhhhh.......verrrrrrry interesting.....

So it must be the coolant, because the *WONK* would always come about 1000rpm before redline.

no?
