Those of you that have made your own FMICs what did you use or how did you go about making an elbow for the throttle body?? I have no P/S or A/C in the way so it shouldnt be to hard for the piping its just that elbow thats got me wondering

Go find an N/A TB elbow...tip it upside down so its pointing towards the raditor (so to speak) then run your tubing up front.. The elbow is 3.5" o.d. and I doubt if you'll run that large of tubes. I run 2.5" so I had to buy two reducers 3.5" - 3" then 3" - 2.5" to accomidate the tubing.....make sense? You'll have to tap into the tubing for the air temp sensor and if you have an S5 motor you'll have to run an element inplace of the oil filler neck... there ya go! I run 18-22psi with a T60-1 turbo and never had a problem with leaking or cracks etc.

I also have a TII adaptor that has benn welded up

What NA elbow works for that?I have some stock piping from the TB off a S4 FC and its just rubber piping.A year range would help.

I believe 86-91 N/A elbow will work...and there all the same..

yes the NA elbow works, you need to mount the AIT sensor in it however. And I am not sure of what pressure its capable of handling John

Its the rubber hose of the NA TB then banzai?I have one off a S4 NA if its that one.then its upgrade time if it is.

Here's the N/A on my engine. It will flow a mad amount of air. It also faces the front of the car. Not the fire wall.
