i broke the drain plugs on my NEW koyo radiator and i wanted to know if anyone new the replacement size and where i can get one. If i dont get a response soon i am probably going to just J B wield it shut

Don't JB weld it shut, just use whatever pieces you have and goto a fastener or plumbing store and have THEM identify what you need (because they can) and get what you need.



You'll regret JB welding it just because you're in a rush.



Worst case scenario (since it's drained anyways), just pull the rad out of the car and take it with you, they can ID internal threads too.

the plug used in that rad is the same plug mazda uses in the stock rad. just swap plugs

well the plug from my old rad is larger than the one in the koyo one

mazda uses koyo rads stock. if you rad was a s5 the plug should have been the same. s4 rads had a bigger plug

well the screw part of the plug is in the radiator and its dripping slowly. the part that broke was the top and i was actually thinking about using some stop leak.

the auto parts store usually has a aisle with items like that, they normally have a chart that says what car takes what plug, buy the sizes that it could be and try them out, people break stuff like that all the time from tighting too much, plenty of replacement plugs around
