ok guys back in june my car was screwing up and then the oil line busted.. so i finally have a chance to install the new oil cooler line.. i install it but the engine is flooded not a problem i hook it up to a rope and pull start it. started right up on the second pull. drives fine for say 15-20 minutes. and then the car starts to loose the gas pedal and idle really ruff itll do this for a known mount of time and then it will return back to normal. it almost seems like dirty injectors or a fuel pump going out maybe? also it back fires when it does this if that helps at all.....

Backfires? Sounds like its running rich.

it sounds like its back firing if you drive behind it when this happens you see little fireball shot out the exhaust

This could be a lot of things. So you are saying you have to "pull start" it often because its flooding and when you are driving it, it runs rough and you lose power while backfiring but all this comes and goes??

Maybe your injectors are leaking or your pressure regulator is going bad?? Are there any other symptoms? Can you see or smell gas near the pulsation damper or FPR?

i just had to pull start it because it was sitting for awhile.. and it was flooded. now i just have to turn the key and it starts right up. its like its outta gas or somthing, i thought i could be the injectors once i get some money (dam christmas) i am going to do a full out tune up on it. btw "pulsation damper or FPR? " i have no idea what those are https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/dunno.gif

You didnt by chance mess with the TPS did you?

I had the A/C charged on the GXL I sold and the mechanic adjusted the TPS thinking it was the idle, my car had the same problems you have. Adjusted the TPS and it ran like a top.
