I am looking to upgrade my brakes since something bad just happened to them however i have two quetions. What is the breaking percentage front and back, which brakes more? Also, what brake setup do you guys recommend.?

um just from hearsay, i thought the fronts do 90% of the work.

If i was you i would get a set of power stop cross drilled rotors with a set of the T2 calipers. Works great on my GTU.

Does anyone have extra T2 Calipers

I thought 4 pistons and the five lug calipers were the same?

I have Hawk HPS pad and Brembo blanks, car stops great no noise. For the money you cant beat the setup.

EDIT: TII and 4 piston

i bought a full set of cross drilled/slotted rotors on ebay brand new for $160 or $180.. dont reemmber but a good deal... and they work greak and look cool... i converted the rear to vented and got vented calipers off of a 91 convertable and got the T2 4 piston caliper front... best set of brakes ive had yet on a car...

Hmmm, my 87 has vented rears from the factory, was that an option or something?
