My GXL's rotors came off with little problem, and they certainly weren't new.

how much are the factory brake pads at the dealer?

pengaru 09-07-2002 05:11 PM

I think how difficult brake work is depends greatly on where you live, if the car is driven in snow / salt, **** gets rusted up and becomes a pain in the ass. I worked at a carx in illinois for slightly less than a year in a previous life, they salt in illinois, people treat their cars like **** here too. Nothing seems difficult to work on after that ****. Just bring out the hammer, cutting torch, saws all, air, and pry bar. The rest is history. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png Working on piece of **** GM minivans that just rolled in off a snow covered salt infested road is something nobody should be subjected to.

- I just realised how foul my language has become since getting an apt with my gf, she's rubbing off on me. Sorry guys <_<
