My front brakes are worn to nothing and I need to replace them. I have Axxis performance pads on the rear and they are pretty good. But there are so many brands I was wondering your guys experience. Noise and dust are main concerns. Any info would be appreciated.

Axxis metal master pads, with Powerslot rotors here. Love them.

Those are the ones I was thinking about.......I still am unsure......I could just get 4 slotted/crossdrilled rotors and 2 sets of performance pads for $400....but that is alot to spend on brakes. I wanted to wait till I need calipers and get the four piston calipers....

I can't believe with 28 views only 2 people have brake pads! Thats scary...

I use Raybestos pads from Pep Boys. They do the job, and both the front and rear cost me about $35-40.

I think so too. I have found just front rotors and pads for over 300$.

Yeah I know it is a good price. I am the service manager @ an Automotive shop so I get everything at cost. I just don't know if I should spend 400 on brakes or on something else.

Thanks for the responses.

Brakes are incredibly inportant. Stock rotors are a little over $100 a piece. When I finally took my stock rotors off, and only because it was time, 4 powerslot rotors and 2 sets of AXXIS metal master pads came in somewhere under $500 or so, with shipping. The Axxis pads were pretty reasonable. If you have to replace your brakes, spending a couple of extra dollars is worth it, in my opinion, plus the powerslot rotors dont rust, which makes your rims look that much nicer.

Yeah I know how important brakes are. I can get decent rotors for about 30-35 bucks a piece and pads for 40. So the difference is about 100 bucks for these performance ones. I forget the brand of slotted rotors and brakes, but they are the same brand that made the ones for the California Highway Patrol. We put them on a police car at the shop and they are wearing very well. I know it is worth the money, just debating whether to go cheap now and wait till summer when I can afford the 4 piston front calipers and ss brake hoses or just stick with the calipers I got. Thanks for all the advice.
