This probably seems like a dumb question, well, when i first got my car (87' turbo II) the boost was about 17 psi, now its hard to break 14 psi. would my best bet be to take everything off from turbo to intake and check out for leaks? and go ahead and replace vacuum lines? anything else i might need to do? or any other procedures i could do?

Any help would be great.

17 psi? What mods do you have?

its japanese motor, the intercooler is JDM so i do't know if that matters. streetported, T04 turbo, haltech, 720cc injectors, 850 secondaries, etc.

one of the eisier ways is to take the air filter off, and plug it. and then lightly pressureize the intake, you can either hear leaks or find em with soapy water

what do you mean plug it, like clog it up? all i have is turbo, and a filter, so just put something over the hole?
