I was wondering if there was a line or something that i need to reconnect cause it doesnt move a bit when i turn my car on plz help

Stock ones have the tendency to go. But on that same note you shouldn't be relying on stock to begin with because its innacurate.

There's a self-check function where the needle is SUPPOSED to go to "0" when you first turn the ignition onto "ON" (before cranking).
Does it do this? If not, the boost sensor is bad or wiring is screwed. Try and do an error code check to see if you do get a boost sensor error code. -Ted |
get a cheap analog boost pressure gauge from autozone or somewhere like that, and splice it into the line using a "T" and see what you read when you run it.
if the autozone gauge reads like -20 mmHg at idle, and the stock interior gauge reads zero, then it's something wrong with the gauge, the wiring that goes to it, or pressure sensor. if the autozone gauge reads zero and the interior does to, then you have a vaccuum leak somewhere. if your getting a proper reading from the autozone gauge, then test the boost sensor voltage and see if it changes when you get on the throttle. if it stays the same regardless of TP, then you have a jacked up boost pressure sensor. |
