Yea i know im posting a lot, but trying to tune this t2 to be ready for the fall nationals (saturday)

ok well My pressure sensor line was T-d directly to the turbo, when it was like that the stock boost gauge and the VDO on my a-pillar move in unison, but the stock one didnt show vacuum at idle.

Moved pressure sensor hose to the UIM nipple under and to the left of the BAC, the engine shakes a lot less and runs strong however i found a problem.

My stock boost gauge now reads below the 20 in vacuum when idling, but it doesn't show the same amount of boost, or move in unison with my VDO gauge.

Like the VDO gauge shows like 5psi and the stocker is barely over the 0. I can feel it boosting, and if i let off i hear the BOV go so i know im boosting.

Is the stocker just broke?

Also the line running to my VDO boost gauge is really thin and IMHO sucks. Should i take it out and run 3/8 vacuum hose instead? And where should i run the hose to for the most accurate boost reading?

if your talking about the stock boost gauge i dont think that they are accurate. Most are just electronic shizznit.anyone else know?

mine worked god only knows how acurate it was cause there was no numbers just notches that you can't read

im assuming if you are getting ready for the fall nationals youve got a modifed rx7

when u install and fcd it will cause your stoc boost gauge to be inacurate. so youve just got to live with it.

ohh, see i didnt know that, yup i have an fcd in there so stock boost gauge is useless now....as if i knew what any of those dashes meant anyway https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/smile.png.

I don't think ill be running this saturday, to me the car isnt ready yet. Vosko gave me words of wisdom and so im gonna be safe rather then sorry and not run the car.

When i get it de-ghetto-ed and everything running properly then it'll visit the track, but for now im too unsure of the work done to it to run it with any confidence, i hope to be there watching tho.

Ha. At least you have a pressure sensor for the ECU. Mine just shorts somewhere, so I took it off.
