I'm thinking about getting a 3" Bonez downpipe used off of someone, but I have checked around the internet and haven't been able to find bonez's website, or find a picture of the dp itself.

The guy say's it's all one piece??(the downpipe and the presilencer)

I know it's a pretty populaur dp, so my question to you guys is....

Will it bolt up to a 2 1/2" catback? (tapered down?)

Do you like it?

Anyone have any pics??

Does the presilencer work well?? I'm thinking about going with a wide open cat back, but don't want to attract tooo much attention to myself (bad attention that is)

I just need some info on it so see what I'm shoppin for.

Thanks!

I have a Bonez 2.5" downpipe, and it connects to stock pipe before the cat. Then I also have a Bonez 2.5" cat replacement pipe, up to which bolts my 3" Corksport single (the flange tapers to 2.5" to bolt up to stock cat). If the Bonez 3" is anything like the RB 3", it'll be a single piece connecting from the turbo to the cat, but I doubt it tapers to 2.5" to bolt up the the cat. So you'll need a 3" cat replacement pipe which won't bolt up to your 2.5" cat-back unless you make one that's tapered, which seems kinda pointless. Looks like you're gonna have to replace your entire exhaust, which is what I'm planning on doing in the future as well.

I don't really know anything about Bonez either. The exhaust was on my car when I bought it. Ask lxk199 about it. He's the one who put it on, when it was his car.

Also, I really, really like the Corksport single 3" cat-back It's very light and it sounds great; under 3000rpm it's very quiet, and past 3000rpm, it's still pretty quiet under light throttle, but go WOT and it gets deliciously loud with a nice tone. Although, that's with 2.5" pipes up to the cat-back. Full 3" will be a little louder, and a little deeper. They make them with both 2.5" and 3" flanges, and it's also pretty cheap. They sell a 3" downpipe/midpipe as well and are working on a 3" cat replacement pipe.

Hmmmm..... when I re-do my exhaust, I might just go full Corksport...
