Does anybody know the best place to get one?

MaTT_FoULk 01-05-2003 10:31 PM

I don't know that the Bonez downpipe is a 3" pipe, I think its a 2.5" pipe. Buy it direct from RX7.com http://www.rx7.com/cgi-local/2catalog.cgi?...i?cat=11&part=2

what are you looking for. I hope with that comes a high flow cat. If not then you're pissing into the wind. My were so clogged, it was unbelievable.

I think he is looking for a 3" version of it.I don't think they even make one that big do they???

ILUVMY88CABRIO 01-06-2003 01:35 AM

Mazdatrix sells RB's 3"DP, you'd have to fab up a mid pipe. Also Corksport sells a polished 3" dp for $169, it's all bling bling! https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/bling.gif

FC downpipes are hard to find in stock. i went with a 3" RB and custom midpipe on my old TII. worked great! cheap too!

you can get it from mazdatrix on top!

vosko 01-06-2003 08:35 AM

the bonez dp is CRAP... it only replaces the precat not the intermediate pipe.... such garbage. i bought one a long time ago...

My friend bought their 2.5" MP and I laughed when I saw it. It looked like a damn 5 year old welded the flanges on the pipe.

Bonez is just RP's own brand. They try to make it out to be some performance company.

I can recommend the HKS unit :yum: I got a really good deal on it from a former nopistons sponsor who is no longer in business. The hksusa website lists their part number 3103-RZ003 at $280.

The only problem I had was getting the O2 sensor to clear the EGR valve, so I removed the EGR. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png

vosko 01-07-2003 09:53 PM

hks and RB :bigok:

1988RedT2 01-07-2003 09:54 PM

3" isn't too big for a turbo rotary.

My buddy got the RB and it looked exactly like the RS*R piece I picked up in Japan. My theory on this is Racing Beat used to sell RS*R stuff. They just for the design and copied it. It's a very good looking piece as far as pipes go.
