when i hit bumps that redline beeping noise turns on only for a second. I think it may just be a short in the wiring but it makes me nervous that i may be hurting something. Does anyone know of this problem?

that beep will sound not only for rpm but also low oil and low coolant so make sure your levels are up

yeah sometimes the oil or coolant can be low enough that when the road is straight and flat its not low enough to turn the buzzer on, but when you turn it is. check those two, if you have plenty of coolant and oil, then its likely to be the coolant level sensor wire grounding out on something |
I agree with j9fd3s. If your levels are good your dash has a loose ground. My 89 coupe did the same thing. It was a ground behind the dash.
