circuit breaker for the whole cars electrical?

never thought of that, I used to have a 100 amp Phoenix Gold

one for the stereo, then I took all the heavy duty stereo ****

out and took that out with it.



I dont remember being able to attatch battery cable to it

without using a smaller ring connector.

I had to "customize" a ring to get it on there. The one that fit the cable are too large. I've seen them as big as 200amps. Normally they are just used on high-end stereos systems, but I have had no problems with mine on the cars electrical system. I just got a new set of battery terminal connectors. They were fairly affordable considering what some of the better brand names cost. The brand I have is Tsunami. They have two 0/1 awg and two 4awg connections on each terminal. Perfect for connecting all the (+) accessories you might want to run (ie CDI box, electric fan, etc...) and the negative terminal is great for all those extra grounds.



cost me $30 bones for both at a local stereo shop.
