Its nice when you take the time to do things right, when I was younger
and had no patience my projects would usually be limited because I had to drive the car. Then you realize part of the fun is doing the work and having a job you can be proud of. All your hard work should pay off with a reliable and good running car. But I think if you have a large investment in your project already (both time and money) it helps with keeping you bound to the plan. It's hard to justify cutting corners to compromise what can be a really nice end result given the large investment, effectively making all the initial time and money spent pointless because the results don't show it... all because you got impatient and/or frustrated. There are some things I skipped for now just because the cold weather makes it very uncomfortable to do some things, I will finish those up when the weather perks up. I want the car running because we all know engines don't like sitting for a long periods without ever getting run. |
I think I get my new found patience from work, so far my biggest
project was almost 900 hours. I just got done with one that was 325 hours, I can remember spending all my money on engine parts, then slapping them in my car with the mentality of "its a fast car, It doenst need to be neat, etc...." Now I want the whole package. |

How much were those terminals? Thay look really nice. I saw some really cool ones a short time ago. They had quick releases instead of screws. Keeps you from messing up the terminal everytime you take it off.
