It started when I cut the cats out, but I shoot pretty nasty flames too. People always ask about it when they ride behind me.

i heard that my old TII shot about 5 foot flames....... out of both tail pipes. its pretty cool when it lights up the behind the car at night https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png

haha but driving around with no cats has gotta be very very very loud ... the fire must be fun to play with when racing, whats more intimidating than the guy next to you shooting huge ass flames out of his tailpipes?

It's not loud at all I have 3 inch exhaust with racing beat mufflers, it's the quiettest rx7 I have ever owned.

Your turbo does alot to muffle the noise

thats cool i always thought the cat did alot to muffle the sound, how loud is the stock turbo?? im talking when its spooling how loud is the whine
