I just tore into my s5 jspec. two broken apex seals and a corner plug is gone. But the bad part is the housing has some good size scrattechs in both. What can I get away with? Is their any thing I can do? Has anyone ever ran one ,and if so to what result .ya I know I'm a cheap basterd but hey you gatta do what ya gatta do thanks Corbit

I'd be more surprised if you bought a j-spec and it wasn't screwed up.

sidewinderx7 01-15-2004 01:14 AM

good luck finding good used housings though ... :(

I have 1 good s5 t2 housing sitting here. But you'd be lucky to find any.

Corbit 01-15-2004 01:20 AM

So what do you want for it where in wa. are you

banzaitoyota 01-15-2004 05:09 AM

BAD and JSPEC are synonomous https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR

I may sell my good S5 TII housing. make me a reasonable offer

FaztAzzGXL 01-15-2004 09:13 AM

why dont you get some non turbo rotor housings... rip the sleeves out of them and use those if your looking for a fix? NA rotor housings are really easy to find and cheap. The car may run up to 10 degrees hotter though. just my suggestion.

cant help you, but I get to go on my soap box again, lol

J-spec- japenese junkyard engine

if you called a junkyard in the USA and asked if they

had a TII there with a engine, and they said

"oh sure we do , it only has 50,000 miles on it as well"

would you just tell them to ship it to you and drop it in the car?
