Ok i was checkin out a 87 rotary tonight, and the guy said it needs new injectors, this guy doesnt sound like he knew what he was talkin about, but he might. Also, i took it for a drive and the "add coolant" light came on every 10seconds. And only ha;f of the dash light works. I can probly get it for $500, think its worth it? give me some info on the injector and help with what you guys can. thanks!

If you can remove the injectors yourslef you can get them cleaned for >$100.



The dash on the 87 is a bit of a soar spot. With some patience and a little research you can fix all of it quite easy if your handy with that sort of thing. The logician and the cpu are the general suspects and can be fixed up with a bit of solder.



There is lots more I could go on about but just sticking to your questions.

It sounds like this car has many minor things that will need fixing.

If you are a DIY guy with patience - no biggie.

If you have to send it to the shop (like the current owner) for many repairs it can become a money pit.



Do a compression test to make sure the motor is OK.
