gday fellas,
i have a '84 mazda rx-7 rotary, and this car u would not believe blows SOOOO much smoke https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/dunno.gif , its incrediable. Anyway, the smoke it blows is blueish/grey so that means that the apex seals need to be replaced. but my question is this. the car blows enough smoke that fills my 3 car garage so much u cant see the other side. Could the replacing the Apex seals fix all this... it cant be, or would i need to replace the rotors as well. the engine by the way is a 13b rotary. any help would be great...or simply any THEORY, based on piston engines. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/smile.png cheers from the G down under :bigok: |
The rotors should be ok, you may have to replace the rotor housings, but if you have low compression then odds are it is the apex seals.

Its the oil seals. You need to rebuilt the engine.
