Put on the exhaust, sounds nice. Kind of like a car. I checked My tires again while I had it up in the air. The driver side looked like it rubbed for maybe a spliit second. I think next time i take off the wheels i'll bust out the grinder and 'modify' the perch a little. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png

*edit- Yeah the t2 rims are a whole new world. I dont feel the tires coming off the rim if I whip it around a corner. The one thing I cant get over is that my tires (kumhos) are actually throwing stones. Never heard that before.lol

what did you do to the exhaust ?

pengaru 12-04-2002 09:33 PM

was the rubbing on the rear or front? You may have said which were close but i'm half asleep...

anyways, if it's rear, the bushings go bad for the rear steer junk and will make things a bit sloppy and could contribute to that rubbing if it's back there... RB has rear steer eliminator bushings. I have some pics of the ghetto engineering method of installing them:

rear steer elminator bushing install pics

even if it isnt the rear that is rubbing, i recommend this mod, makes the rear end alot more predictable.

Yeah it rubs in the front, not really at all tho, so I am not worried. I plan on the rearsteer elim. bushings in the future sometime.

As for the exhaust I bought a used catback off the craziest **********er on this forum.
