Anyone have a pic?I know the stock ECU will need it but the swap I bought doesn't seem to have one in it.I need to find a pic to show my friend so I can get one.
Thanks Luis |
kind of looks like the pressure sensor but it doesnt' have a nippple but likea little cover over where the nipple used to be. I think it also has a orange type of sticker on top instaed of back with white.

N326-18-211 s/b the part#. They're calling it a boost sensor in the microfiche, but showing it on the pass. kick panel area.

the atmospheric pressure sensor is in the car if I'm not mistaken, in the passenger footwell by the ecu ... the boost sensor is a 1 bar 'map' sensor, but it's not used as a map sensor on the fc, it's used as a 'boost' sensor... I mean, it doesnt sense manifold absolute pressure, if it did you wouldnt care about atmospheric pressure. .. (and it wouldnt be on a primary intake port runner in the lower intake manifold) |
Then what is N318-18-211?

he's asking about the atmospheric pressure sensor, two different things. |
I said pass. kick panel (inside the cockpit).

ah, hrm. wonder why they called it a boost sensor. |
the correct one is n326-18-211, the 86-88's all use the same one. the 89+ is in the ecu

I know what you are talking about the workshop manual refers to it as an 'ATP sensor' It is under the dash on the passenger side to the right of the computer. I still need to get one but my car runs without; hmmmm I wonder if that has anything to do with the funny idle???
